This worked fine in my 2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid which has a large rear view mirror bracket/mount with electronics. To securely attach the mount, I followed these simple steps: (1) Find a suitable spot for the mount (and camera) before attaching it. Once the mount is in place, it can be difficult to remove. (2) Remove the protective material from the sticker on the back of the bracket. Then press the mount firmly against the windshield and hold it there for a few minutes. This should hold the glue firmly together. (3) Then wait a few days before attaching the camera to the bracket to allow the adhesive to cure. .
