Coax power cable not included but works fine

The first thing I can complain about and that's the only reason I'm deducting a star is that the unit packaged like this is unusable because you need a coax cable, to connect the power adapter to the device. I think the reason for this is that you can mount the amp up to 100ft from the power source based on the coax you supplied - well, great, but if you don't have spare coax (I had) then you will not be able to install the block. At the very least, this should be clearly stated at the time of purchase or in the product description. Yes, it technically says "doesn't include coax cables", but no one is suggesting that this includes the cable needed to power it. In addition, the device works *perfectly*. We had a problem with the signal at our house which caused some stations to drop out constantly. Tivo reported a signal strength of 24-27%. Removing the existing splitter and switching to a direct connection increased performance by up to 35%, but in doing so I had to remove the cable modem - obviously not a viable solution. So I bought it with low expectations, knowing that if it didn't work out, Revain would take it back. Well it is. The signal strength *with* reconnecting the modem more than doubled to 55-57% and all picture issues were gone. I couldn't be happier.
