I love that this one device has replaced a bunch of adapters and hubs and breathed new life into my collection of SATA HDDs and SSDs. Now I can just carry and plug in that single device to access my most important files, and automatically connect my mouse and keyboard to each device via the Logitech receiver I keep in the side USB 2.0 port. The construction is solid and the SATA drive sliding door is secure and easy to remove. Please note that you must connect the enclosure/hub via USB 3.0 or higher in order for the SATA drive installed in the enclosure to be recognized by your device. USB 2.0 allows all other ports to work but not the SATA drive. I prefer braided nylon cables to standard cables. The only "negative" I can point out is that no matter how you rotate them, they are upside down. If you turn it over so the USB ports and memory cards are inserted vertically, the power indicator is down and out of view, and the text on the side is upside down. If you flip it the other way, the USB and memory card ports are upside down. However, this is not an absolute minus, but just a feature. The included USB-C cable is also fairly short, but I still prefer to use my own nylon braided cables. If you need a portable drive, a USB-C hub, and the ability to use your old SATA hard drives and SSDs, this is definitely the device for you.

Pros
  • Dual Interface Cable
Cons
  • No color required
