Review on NIUTO Portable Touchscreen Extender Computer Compatible 14", 60Hz, 便携, 140-4K, HDMI, IPS, 4K, HD by Stayin Jacobson

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Has issues (overheating, unreliable connection, buzzing, touchscreen framerate.)

Good: 1. Bright display2. Good resolution and image 3. easy to connect and configure; many adapter cables4. It's solidly built, has a good body, and fits nicely in my bag. The Bad: 1. Consumes a lot of power - it overheats my Matebook X Pro laptop after being plugged in for 1-2 hours.2. The connection drops frequently - even with the cables that came with it, it seems to disconnect from the laptop for no reason and reconnect after a second or two3. It started making a loud buzzing/vibrating sound after being plugged in for a while. did it in the middle of the presentation4. A small problem, but the default brightness setting is way down, so you have to go into the menu and increase the brightness every time you plug it in (including every time you accidentally unplug it)5. It tracks the mouse well, but when you try to use the touchscreen to DRAW (I use it to sketch/diagram models/wireframes) it's unfortunately unusable due to latency. This was one of the main reasons I bought the screen so it was a big disappointment. Very close. There are a few things that don't make an ideal second screen for travel at a reasonable price, but unfortunately for me overheating and an unreliable connection make it all but useless.
