Amazing bathroom accessories

After the birth of my first child, my anatomy changed significantly. I walked around the tampons and didn't fill them up. I had problems with menstrual cups and resorted to pads. I'm not even 30 and it just wasn't acceptable to me. So I kept looking. I stumbled across this by accident while looking for ways to live a greener, more sustainable life. It changed the rules of the game. People worry about sticking their fingers in "up there," but get over it. Yes, it's "more invasive" than a tampon. But it's easy to place it. Just wet it, ring it and slide it in until you can't feel it anymore. It's damn handy and reusable! I never have to worry about taking 20 tampons with me when I leave the house. As long as there is a bathroom with a sink, everything is ready. I carry a spare sponge and a small wet bag (or container) with me when I know I need to use a public restroom. We're all women, but I don't want to see someone else's blood washed off a sponge in the same sink I wash my hands in. They are afraid that he will be "lost". Your vagina is not a bottomless pit. Strip down as if you're having a bowel movement and you should feel it pop out of the hole. Word to the wise, make sure you take it out and wash it every 4 hours or so. Your body has natural fluids, so even during light periods it absorbs other substances. If I haven't "changed" it for too long, I'll whip when I pick up my baby, or sneeze, etc. It only took me a few times to learn my lesson. There is no pain when removing it, as with a premature change of a tampon. Ladies, this thing is amazing. Do yourself a favor and just give it a try. Do that! Give in to peer pressure! And bonus, they're eco-friendly too.

Pros
  • fingers crossed
Cons
  • the list will be long.
