I needed surge protected outlets for desk lamps, computers and chargers. This product is very well thought out both functionally and qualitatively. It's solid, the main power cord is quite thick, and that's a good indicator of some serious current-carrying capacity. The main cable has a Velcro closure for twisting excess cable length. The lights above the USB ports turn off when the device is fully charged, which is very convenient. The outlets are positioned so you can plug a wall outlet (or electric vampire) into the outlet without impeding access to a nearby outlet. (Wall wart refers to small, rectangular power supplies with a built-in connector with no cable between the connector and the PSU case.) I was also very impressed with the packaging. The cable was twisted neatly and wrapped separately in plastic. The power plug itself was even encased in a molded plastic cover (perhaps to prevent the plug's pins from scratching the casing?). is one of the best I've seen.
