I read all the reviews and was so happy to get this. I wanted something that would clean the dust in the bedroom and make it fresher! I clean my apartment, but I assume that the bedroom is used more frequently and is quite small, so a lot of dust collects there. Either way, it doesn't purify the air. I've tried several things in water: oils, just water, even fabric softeners. A fabric softener works best. The only reason a tank gets dirty is oils or whatever else you want to mix with the water. I can smell the scent I chose, but I can honestly say it does NOT clean the air! I am very disappointed and feel like I totally wasted my money! Now I'm looking for an alternative that will do the job I wanted!
