Review on Zojirushi CD WCC40 Boiler Warmer Silver by Ryan Schweigert

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I had no idea how useful this could be until I bought it!

I confess I'm more than obsessed with Japanese culture and the way the Japanese do things, and when I saw that many Japanese homes have a hot water dispenser, I was fascinated . After having this car for a few months, I have no idea how I've lasted so long without it. The ability to have instant hot water for tea, coffee, ramen, or even slightly increase the water I cook on the stovetop or use to cook rice has made this appliance an invaluable tool in my kitchen, and though it's big and I don't. I don't have a lot of countertop space so this heater has earned a permanent spot on my countertop. The heater itself couldn't be easier to use. Just fill it up and it will automatically start heating the water to the right temperature. I will note that this initial heating is the only time the heater will actually make any noise or steam. It makes some weird whimpering and popping noises while heating cold water to the right temperature, and it can emit a lot of steam from the top, but once it's up to temperature it sits still and is ready to go at any time. note. The heater is excellent at retaining heat, but the outer part of the heater, despite being metal, only gets very warm even with the water boiling inside. You don't have to worry about accidentally burning your hand by accidentally touching the heater. The heater builds up sediment inside and my tap water is particularly hard, but after it builds up the initial build up around the heating element the sediment doesn't get too heavy. Zojirushi also makes a citric acid cleaner to break up residue if things get too bad, so I'm not worried. I would recommend this to anyone who needs hot water on a regular basis even if you don't do much. Japanese or Asian cuisine. It has sped up many aspects of cooking for me.
