Review on TYC 700012 Replacement Blower Assembly by Dana Schmidt

After much research I purchased this aftermarket fan to replace the original part on my 2005 Dodge Ram 3500. The original fan became very loud and made screeching and cricking noises depending on the speed setting. The new fan looked just like the original and was very easy to install. Installed under the glove compartment on the passenger side. Remove the three mounting screws and harness connector to pull out the old one. Repeat the process to install a new fan. I would give it more stars but the new fan is much louder than the OEM part when it was new. I try not to turn it past the minimum setting as it gets too loud. The price was right and it works well, but I wish it was quieter.
