The frustration I see in the reviews is due to user error. These cameras are extremely easy to set up, have great night vision and the sound quality seems fine because when I talk to my cats through the mic, they look back at me. If you get a 2.4GHz notification and don't know how to find your 2.4GHz connection, simply disconnect and start the recovery process again. I've seen both the answer to the question and the review stating that you can only control these cameras if you're on the same network, which is absolutely not the case. I've been monitoring with an app on my phone when I was over 150 miles from home with no problems with my cellular data. I also monitored the use of other free WiFi networks without any problems. I have extremely difficult technological problems. I installed these cameras myself after reading the instructions in less than 15 minutes including app download, network connection and installation. I was so excited to be able to do this and successfully get it working that I texted my two 20 year old daughters bragging about it.
