I think I got lucky with mine. It worked!
I think I got lucky with what I got. First, the price was very fair. It had everything it needed. This adapter allowed me to put a new SSD in my laptop's internal slot and move the old hard drive into the CD bay. I then installed the grub boot manager with linux boot. drive and this allows me to boot Win10 from an internal SSD or from a hard drive in the CD bay. All in all everything works fine now and I am happy with my purchase.
