I had a Bone Fone in the late 1970s. FM only. I could never understand why I couldn't find anything similar today with Bluetooth without needing headphones or earbuds to listen to music outside. I read the reviews and decided to try Boomerang. I haven't used headphones since then. Some reviewers wrote that the sound quality was on par with Bose's $300 version. I think it's pretty good for the size of the drivers/speakers. The channel separation is very good, so the music surrounds me. Little bass, but good resolution, mids and highs. I use it for cycling and daily walks. I charge it about every 8 hours with about 30% charge left. Definitely a good choice for me. My first ride with him around my neck took a few hours to get used to Boomerang's presence. I always thought it would slip off my shoulders, but it didn't. If you can walk around with a boomerang-shaped device around your neck, I recommend the boomerang.
