I bought this to fit a modern 27" monitor and an older 17" monitor together, to change the angle of my desk and also make it a little more "quake proof" as the 27th May -inch monitor used to stand on several towers. I wasn't expecting much from the build quality and clamping force so I expected to have to design the top brace to keep everything stable. I'm surprised I don't need the top mount, although I can add one and the overall build quality was pretty good. I added a few more large screws to the bottom bracket (there are 4 holes, 4 screws can be used) and also added a headphone hook at the top. The cable management bits were just "ok" but I have 3M Velcro cable ties coming out of each hole so I just padded them with cable ties. I will say that I was not overly impressed with the strength of the table clamp screw handle. but that's the "set and forget" part, so I don't expect any major problems. because he is a little thin. In my opinion, the biggest area for improvement would probably be the larger lower 'leg', as the included leg is long enough to get pinched when you tighten (or loosen to tighten) the table clamp; Another 10mm or 20mm total length would probably have prevented this and would also have slightly increased clamping force distribution. Anyway at a great price I am very happy with my purchase and will buy from WALI again if I find their products for my needs. as solid as possible. This is good because I added another pair of mounts and now I have the original 27" wide 19", 17" 3/4 and 19" 3/4 along with the headphone holder. I am very satisfied so far and have to say this is one of my favorite purchases of the last year or two. Stop hesitating and just buy it when you've gotten this far.
