Review on Trimmer Philips BT1216 Series 1000 by Agata Olszewska ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing for the money, I'm glad I chose this option.

I've been using the trimmer for over a year. Before that, there was a Philips QG 3327. The old trimmer worked for almost 4 years (the battery died). I use a trimmer 2 times a week to trim the stubble (5 mm). The charge is enough for about 5 times for 10-15 minutes. While the charge holds perfectly. The blades have not dulled in a year. The trimmer cuts great. I personally have no complaints about blades. Vibration and noise from the trimmer tolerable. Doesn't irritate me. One of the main advantages of the trimmer is the ability to charge it from a power bank. But you need to know that not all power banks support low charge current (0.05A). It is not clear why the indicator is made. During charging, it is constantly lit green and does not signal the end of the charge. When the indicator signals the discharge of the trimmer, then only 20-30 seconds of charge remain. That is, there is no sense in this indicator. There are also questions about charging the trimmer. The instructions say that you need to charge 8 hours. In fact, the trimmer continues to charge even after 12 hours (pictured). Overall the trimmer is great. For the money you can't find anything better.

Pros
  • self-sharpening blades, Micro USB for charging
Cons
  • useless charge/discharge indicator
