Review on Sandbank Men'S Lightweight Waterproof Hooded Jacket For Outdoor Adventures by Brannan Mclemore

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exceeds my expectation for the price !

I saw a similar jacket with great reviews that was about $50 and then this showed up in the "similar" items list . towards the end, and for only $35, but with no reviews. The stitching and fabric looked good in the close-up images, so I took a gamble. Well, this jacket is solid! I thought it might be light-weight like a plastic shopping bag, but its actually got some weight to it. No inside pockets, but who needs it when there's seven exterior pockets! Water rolls off the fabric, but it will absorb water if manually worked into the material. I wasn't sure if I should go Large or X-Large, but the X-Large is perfect for my taste - not tight and not too lose. Couple quirks - you will have to punch through a hole if you use headphones in the pass-through patch; the hood is great, but I removed the drawstring to pass it through only one of the two holes offered and then I carefully cut along the seam-line to remove the zipper sheath/guard that attaches to the hood, because it's a little awkward in my opinion. Otherwise, It's a great jacket. I'll update if it doesn't hold-up or perform in the weather.

Pros
  • Breathable & Lightweight: 100% Polyester fabric provides good breathability and is very light. This lightweight rain jacket can packs away into bag effortlessly. In favor of convenience, and compact storage.
Cons
  • The jacket may not be very durable over time, with some buyers expressing complaints of wear and tear after only a few months of use. This may make it a poor choice for those who want a jacket that lasts for years to come
