Works in hot mode and turns off your hard drives.

I don't know why mine is getting hot. I smell something burning. When I connected it to the power supply, a blue light came on first. After a few minutes it had no power and the blue power LED on top of the device went out. I had to unplug it and plug it back in. power on? Not sure if mine is bad. Last night I smelled a strong odor of something burning. When I got to the hub it was hot and smelly. Comes with a HUGE adapter, power adapter. Wow, more than my computer. I've also noticed my hard drives turning off, turning back on and showing everything on screen? Quite a lot happens. I'm not happy about that. For the price I thought I was getting a very good hub.
