I can't open it with the remote control and the little tabs are also difficult to open. I've tried using the small plastic piece that comes with the kit but it doesn't work. Directions don't help. I'm glad they are taking precautions, but it doesn't do me any good if I can't open it. Update: I opened it. (Watch the video) So far it's working fine. The load is enough to hear clearly from another room. I still give 4 stars because it is difficult to open. However, if you have young children, this can be a plus as the batteries can choke.
