So I read a lot of reviews and bought this camera and there are three important things you need to know. First, it's a camera that can be submerged underwater. You have to take care of the pressure. I work professionally on a multi-million dollar submarine, and anything that goes underwater always requires a lubricated seal. No matter how good your o-ring is, it needs to be dry. This chamber has 2 main seals that need to be removed and lubricated. I recommend Dow 111 silicone gel, which is available for $16 and comes in a tube that can be used for 1-5 years. Compared to the cost of a new camera, it is very cheap. Alternatively, you can use petroleum jelly or any marine-grade lubricant. To do this, you have to open the data port on the side, remove the seal there and put it aside. You should remove the door holding the seal to get to the other seal. Simply slide the hinge pin up out of the door and set the pin aside with the door. This can be done with a jewelry screwdriver or a metal bracket. Now remove the 8 screws on the back of the camera and take off the back of the camera. Now simply remove the seal that you will find inside this cap. After removing the two gaskets, all you have to do is apply a thin coat to the gaskets and reassemble. You want a wet look but no clumps. You should repeat this with the small one in the data door before every dive, but the larger seal doesn't need to be cleaned and re-greased more than once every 6 months or so. as long as you have a camera. Second, you must have them send ours. It's simple, but you won't think about it alone. If you put your camera away after a dive, leave it open. Third, this is my only complaint. This camera has a fixed focal length. That means you need to be about 4 feet from what you're trying to photograph or the image will be blurry.
