I've wanted to upgrade to a wireless charger in my Model 3 for a long time, but what held me back was that my iPhone 11 Pro Max would be too big to fit vertically on previous generation chargers. I was very happy when I saw this updated version. I don't have a thick phone case and this charger is thinner than my phone with a case. In combination with the curved top, this allows the phone panel to be lifted almost completely. The bottom bar that the phone sits on is thin and fits snugly into the bottom cover of the car's phone pad, giving more than enough vertical room for my phone and then some. When I first received the product I was a bit concerned that it doesn't have a soft layer on the back to rattle against the phone's plastic cover, but once I put it in the car it's not a problem as there are four round ones Pins on the back fit tightly into the phone case holes without moving. The surface is rubberized to prevent the phone from slipping. It is unlike other similar rubber materials that are easily scratched, leave marks from your fingertips, or attract dust. This surface has no such problem and is very easy to clean with a dry or damp microfiber cloth. With both sides connected to the front USB ports with the included splitter cables, I get about 8-10% charge on my device. Phone after about 25-30 minutes drive. No fast charging but suitable for my needs. I never intended to use it as my main method of charging my phone's battery. I see it as an addition. Every time I drive, my phone not only doesn't lose charge, but also adds something. And all I have to do is put it on deck. These shallow charges are actually better for battery life compared to deep cycle charges. After all, this is exactly what I was waiting for! And I bought two for both 3 models in the family! As another reviewer mentioned, I prefer the charge indicator to be green or blue rather than amber. But it's not a scam. Personal preference only.
