This pedal does not work for the4 Singer Confidence 7460. I lost the original plug in a move somehow. This machine is brand new for me and I'm having to manually Start it. Thank God my machine has the start button but I really wish this pedal works. For me, when you press it down, nothing happens then when you let go, the machine starts to sew at whatever settings you have it on for speed. The foot pedal was exactly what I needed and all I had to do was plug it in and my sewing machine and I were back up and running!

I didn’t look at the negative reviews before I ordered, but it turned out that this did the same thing as it did to another customer. The pedal worked reversely so you had to press the pedal to stop sewing and let go to sew. I personally don’t mind it was reversed but nobody else likes using it that way.

This particular plug does not fit my singer 15-91, or any of my other singer sewing machines with three prong plug. That's my review!

The pedal is ultra lightweight and the connection point really didn't want to fit into my old sewing machine but after a couple minutes it finally went in. I rewired my old pedal into the new wire. Glad a solution exists out there but wish it was better.

Created a F04 error on my Baby Lock and another machine with the same foot pedal only worked briefly for about 10 stitches not when depressing the foot pedal but when releasing the pedal. Uggh. this is a non-starter for me. Returning ASAP.

Bought this to replace the OEM plastic pedal for a 15 yr old Singer computerized sewing machine that had gotten hard to press. I've had it for a month now and it's very smooth! Much better than my old one.

My "new" foot control pedal was dead on arrival.There was no return information in the box so I have no way of returning it or getting a replacement.Price was right but what's the point if it doesn't work?😝👎

I was nervous buying this because I read on some boards that they modified foot controllers and it didn't work. However, this one did. Note, I cut a notch into this plug instead of cutting, bending or grinding off the metal notch on the sewing machine. Still worked perfectly.Speed control is touchy, but I just need to get used to it. It does go slow to fast depending on how hard you press. So I'm super happy with this pedal, and it's nice to go solid state, just feels safer :)

This plug did not fit my 1940'S Singer. The plug was too wide to fit into the machine, however my husband shaved the tops/sides down a bit now it fits snuggly.

This cord fit perfectly on my sewing machine. Description and pictures of the part that plugs into the sewing machine were very clear so I had no problems with purchasing the right plug type foot pedal I needed. My machine is better than new!
