Purchased for my daughter for her homemade Steampunk Zombie Halloween costume. It works well for that purpose and is of above average quality for such a prop. The dual magnifies pop off easily so be aware of that. The plastic looks metallic enough, and the overall impression is very authentic. Love this product. Very simple. With big brightly colour coded letters. I like how the letters can stay in place so no distractions. Lots of simple cvc words to choose from. The vowels are usually in red and the consonants in blue. That changes with the wooden board. So many activities can be made out of this. I thought this was going to complement the amazing photo I had made to give a family member. And it might have been. But upon taking it out of the box, I noticed it was damaged on the side. I wouldn’t say it’s giftable if this is how they come, and certainly not sturdy. I thought it was just discolored so I gently used a damp cloth but it didn’t do any good. Fabric and quality were good. The waist fit very nicely and it was easy to get on. However, being busty (36DD) . . .
