This pedal does not work for the4 Singer Confidence 7460. I lost the original plug in a move somehow. This machine is brand new for me and I'm having to manually Start it. Thank God my machine has the start button but I really wish this pedal works. For me, when you press it down, nothing happens then when you let go, the machine starts to sew at whatever settings you have it on for speed. When you press the pedal again, it slows down the sewing then stops it until you release the pedal, then it begins to sew again. Never have I experienced this before.My Singer is brand new. Wish I could find that pedal!
