I was nervous buying this because I read on some boards that they modified foot controllers and it didn't work. However, this one did. Note, I cut a notch into this plug instead of cutting, bending or grinding off the metal notch on the sewing machine. Still worked perfectly.Speed control is touchy, but I just need to get used to it. It does go slow to fast depending on how hard you press. So I'm super happy with this pedal, and it's nice to go solid state, just feels safer :)
