We wanted to love this coffee maker, we really did. It's a beautiful machine in every way, and we love that the cord can be hidden inside. The pot just didn't keep the coffee warm. We've run it 4 times and tweaked the coffee to how we like it, but never got it right. But the main thing is hot coffee. We need it to be hot in a carafe for about 3-4 hours. We might have made it in an hour and we also left it on the stove but it doesn't stay hot for long. I think he passed out immediately. Maybe that's the case with the glass carafe, but we find that glass carafes affect the taste of the coffee.
