The easy way to protect your lenses from sunlight

I originally kept my Vive in its box after each use to ensure the sun's rays didn't damage the lenses, but it was so bulky and caused some problems. It's much easier to put it on after each use to avoid sun and dust damage. The fabric isn't very durable, but more than adequate for the price.
