This is a flashy cheap metallic finish. But they do their job and don't ruin my tie or shirt. They look great on ZOOM which is why I bought them. So they serve their purpose and are not expensive at all. If you want something really shiny, go for it. I'll be looking for less conspicuous tie clips for my very conservative career.
