Boxy fit, not great for skinny kids
I got this suit for my skinny size 8 kid. The colors aren't nearly as vibrant as the picture suggests but she is happy with it. The suit has a very boxy fit, so with the straps tight she still has gaps under her arms and some extra fabric everywhere else. It doesn't gap at her bottom but we haven't gone swimming yet so that may change. I do appreciate the adjustable straps, or the suit wouldn't fit at all.
