I usually wear a medium size but after reading a review saying they are shrinking I ordered a size up. Straight out of the pocket it fit me like I would expect from a medium. I recommend ordering one size larger than usual. Some reviewers found the cotton heavy and scratchy, but I think it's great. It seems to me that this is a durable and quality shirt. I also find it nice and comfortable and I never felt like it scratched. For many years I only wore cotton shirts, but now I have a few non-cotton shirts that I really like. When I work out, I only wear cotton, polyester, or blended fabrics, so I'm not as sensitive to fabrics as some reviewers. However, I find this shirt soft. Although I think they run small, they suit me better. The shoulder straps are a good width and plenty of clearance for me and don't restrict my movement at all. It's long enough for me (I'm 5ft 9in) and while it's not baggy, it's not tight either. I think this is a great shirt, but I suggest ordering one size larger than usual.
