Summary: understand if you are left-handed! I have to cross my arm across my body to write or type as I'm right-handed. The food and beverage department is on the right. Because you're putting the tray on your feet, your workspace can't be shifted to the right unless you sit on the tray's left leg instead of putting it on all your knees. I think if you are left handed you would love this! This is my only real complaint and I would happily buy it upside down! Honestly they need to sell this left handed! Another small complaint is that the drawer isn't big enough for my pens. I can only mount one handle diagonally. Otherwise very nice and durable! I appreciate the metal closures to keep my feet in place. I wish there was a way to lock the adjustable working side in place as this can get a bit annoying.
