Review on πŸ—„οΈ Enhanced Inches Drawer: Timeless Classic with Sleek Industrial Hardware Coating by Justin Albright

Revainrating 4 out of 5

This chute is 3/4 " tall.

I'm sure this track would work great if I could type it in. However I didn't have enough room to incorporate it into my project. If you're replacing an existing 3/4" tall center rail, this is probably a good choice. seems to slide easily. If you want to install it in a box that isn't designed for it, be careful. There should be a gap of at least 3/4 inch between the bottom of the drawer and the front bar where the drawer slides out. Therefore, measure the distance to the top stop of the drawer front. This is any space visible when the drawer is closed. Then add it to the distance between the actual bottom of the box and the bottom of the front of the box. The bottom of the box is always recessed into a groove cut in the front of the box, so there is a small amount of wood under that groove to support the bottom. Add the dimension of that small gap to the space you see at the top of the drawer when it's fully closed. 3/4 inch or more will need to be added to this quantity to allow this bottom rail to be added to the bottom of the drawer. If you have space for installation, simply cut the guide to length with any saw. A small handsaw will do. Screw the wide part of the rail to the bottom of the drawer and the narrow part to the front and rear cross members of the cabinet. That's all. Waxing the slide with wood paste wax greatly improves gliding. I only gave it 4 stars because I could not find the height indicated in the description. You can also purchase wood paste wax from Revain and I highly recommend waxing the slide prior to installation. This reduces premature wear of the wood and makes it easier to pull out the drawer.

Pros
  • The high tech kiln drying process eliminates warping and keeps the crates parallel and stable.
Cons
  • I don't remember
