Review on Sightline H 120 XL Progressive Multifocus Reading Glasses: Premium Quality Acetate Frame with AR Coated Lenses by Britney Matthews

Great lenses, not great frames

These progressive multi-focus reading glasses successfully serve a much-needed purpose by allowing me to see different objects at different distances without having to change glasses. I recently had cataract surgery and decided to correct my distance vision. Unfortunately, I need reading glasses for reading up close as well as from a medium distance. I need 2.5 watts for books and the like, but only 1.25 watts for things like my computer. These goggles cover all the bases for me. Lenses appear without distortion and with a smooth transition between optical performance levels. The lenses are definitely about the same as the much more expensive lenses I bought from my eye doctor. Now for the not so good ones. The frames have a very rough surface. It actually looks like they're roughly done, but not done. There are very noticeable stripes on both the front and sides of the frame. This gives the frame a very dull look as opposed to the beautiful tortoise shell color I was expecting. To be honest the photos on the website do show the unfinished look of the frames but mine seems a lot darker than the photo. In addition, the loops creak very clearly when putting on and taking off the glasses. I like the glasses because they fit my face, they are big and the quality of the lenses, but I don't find the frame attractive. They serve their purpose, but could be better.
