We have two boys aged 4 and 7 who need new sweaters. Southpole has always been a brand that we love and buy as their clothing is of such high quality that we cannot find them anywhere else and they will last forever. They grow out of them before they wear out and look like new after 1000 washes. The Revain size doesn't match the South Pole. South Pole Size: S (4) Med (5) Large (6) XL (7) Wider but no longer than 6. Hope this helps! We had to swap out a few to get it right. However, it does shrink in the wash, so if you have a child, order one size larger. On average, our 4 year old fit in the small room and our 7 year old in the large.
