If you really know what you're buying, this is for you. (quality holds up)

It will not be possible to spend on one device and record on another. As a result, the microphone connection (TRRS) does not work with the 3-wire jack (TRS). This is a cable. Don't blame the cable because you can't google how headphone jacks work. Blame the cable if it's just a bad cable. It works in a regular headphone jack or in a headphone and microphone combo jack and carries that signal. It won't turn them over for you, Lord. Headphone input, headphone output. Microphone in, microphone out. The TRSS cable still carries TRS connections in the TRS connector. Speaking of flipping, one thing you should know is apple, since IIRC is an apple, the IIRC has flipped the mic seat on its 3-pin jack, at least for wired headphones. I think older iPhones accept both types (software), but some Android phones from what I've seen don't like phones with Apple's wired connection for recording. So before you use an extension cord or weird setup with Apple headphones, give it a try. The right angle is perfect for car manufacturers who have decided that the 3.5mm jack is on top of the dash. Less risk of breakage, well hanging and easy to keep away. Another thing to know: if you have an Android phone and it likes to suddenly activate your Google thing when you hit a bump while driving, it's because your headphone jack is loose or something (maybe pocket fluff). This is for 4 wire headphones with a button - the button just crosses 2 and the phone in the software knows you pressed the built in button. If your jack is loose and you have a regular headphone (TRS) cable, it will cross over and activate the button. The area that is both ground and mic on the TRSS jack is simply grounded via the TRS cable. It's annoying and you CANNOT turn it off in the software, even if you could do it before in older versions - if you do that it just pops up and asks if you want to turn it on if it's enabled. Disturbs when driving and only wants to listen to music, not on the cell phone. Many have complained about this for years. thanks google THIS CABLE WILL SOLVE IT! Do you have this problem? Use this car aux cable even if you don't need a microphone connection. Separate conductors prevent loose connections from activating Google pop-up.
