The connector is not connected to the cable

Both pairs have failed after about a month of use. The cable doesn't fit tightly to the connector and over time one channel stopped working and then the cable just fell out of the connector.

Works as advertised.

In my case, more precisely in the case of my child, we bought it to connect his stereo gaming headset with microphone to an Xbox One controller. It works with both the new model (which has a built-in 3.5mm jack) and the old model (when used with a headset adapter).

They work and look high quality. Red ones are easy to find.

Works and seems good quality. Red ones are easy to find and detach from our ubiquitous black wires. As 4-wire TRRS, they are "universal" and should work with almost any type of 3.5mm connection (with or without a mic port, etc.).

Suitable for car phone

So far, so good. I keep my phone in a dash mount in the car and the straight connector cables keep failing after a few months as they detach from the connection to the top of the phone at an unnatural angle. This seems like a good solution to this problem, I just wish it was a little longer.

DOESN'T WORK for PC-to-mobile recording

quality seems decent but it does NOT work for PC-to-mobile recording of audio. I tried this with Macbook Pro on iPhoneX and Google Pixel. I was only able to get intermittent results by partially unplugging the mobile device while attempting to play TRS. I believe you will need a TRRS-TRS male to male 3.5mm cable for this. I was a bit disappointed that it didn't work.

No problem and we like them enough to buy more.

This is for kids and their headphones. My son takes care of his stuff so every cable lasts, while his friends are typical and don't care about kinks and pulls, but they still exceed our expectations. So far, they've outlasted the 'good' cable that came with his headset. I would say they are as good as any other more expensive cable you can find and the red color makes them easy to find and tell for what they are. Per.

If you really know what you're buying, this is for you. (quality holds up)

It will not be possible to spend on one device and record on another. As a result, the microphone connection (TRRS) does not work with the 3-wire jack (TRS). This is a cable. Don't blame the cable because you can't google how headphone jacks work. Blame the cable if it's just a bad cable. It works in a regular headphone jack or in a headphone and microphone combo jack and carries that signal. It won't turn them over for you, Lord. Headphone input, headphone output.
