About 2 weeks ago my original Microsoft Surface Book charger overheated and shorted out after 3 years of faithful service. I was very upset because my Surface Book was my main device. I ordered this charger through Kabcon and Amazon sent it with the premium service because they don't sell the charger separately in my country. I am surprised and happy that I received the delivery 2 days earlier than planned. Of course, this may vary depending on the operating policies of your local couriers. PRODUCT OVERVIEW The product is neatly packaged in a compact box and even comes with a travel carry case. one long cable and the other plugs directly into the power supply, allowing the adapter to plug straight into a wall outlet. I personally prefer a cord as there is less risk of the power adapter falling out of the socket. The DC cable that connects to the Surface can be used either way, and there's a light to let you know your Surface is charging, just like the real thing. I've read several reviews online that some Surface chargers can cause the trackpad to malfunction. I am happy to report that I have had NO such issues with this charger. I will test this charger some more and hope it will last as long as the original. Fortunately, Kabcon offers a 12-month guarantee! Overall I am very satisfied with their product. Works well!
