my bathroom; It's the perfect little size to tuck into the alcove between our bathroom and the wall. We use it as a quick seat for putting on socks, lotion etc (do not use for long periods). It sits squarely on my tile floor and feels pretty solid. I can't say anything about the durability over time, but so far I'm very satisfied. The seat is not cream colored; it's more of a wheat or straw color, which worked well for our needs. I'm thinking of buying another one for the guest bedroom/bathroom and I think it could be used as an extra footstool/ottoman. It is much more attractive than a regular plastic or metal stool.
