The cables charge well, but I don't like the fact that I can't stretch one end as long as I want without pulling the other end. If I do that, the wires wrapped inside will start to unravel and it will jam. I figured I could pocket it and my fellow passengers could just pull to pull out their phone and charge, but that's not possible. So I just pull the cords all the way out and set them so they don't auto-retract, just put the excess in a pocket behind the passenger seat so the passenger can just grab it from there to charge their phone. I wanted something that retracts because the passengers in the back use cords and don't replace it to work as they found it to begin with, so I wanted something that retracts and slides out easily, but it's not. I still use it because I think a USB cable is a USB cable when it charges the phone. I'm still looking for something that will charge all three different types of phone ports and pack away easily.
