Easy to attach and detach, making the watch and case easy to clean. Hard plastic (not too soft and not hard) provides good protection, easy watch placement, access to buttons/crown/microphone/speakers, and does not dangle on the watch. Allows you to use the current collection of straps so you can dress up or give a rugged, sporty look. Full protection with raised bevel for extra screen protection. Will NOT work with 44mm screen covers, but WORKS with 40mm screen covers that do not close completely for added protection. The mic and speaker cutouts don't block sound and actually seem to boost the speaker a bit. Highly recommend if you are looking for a full coverage case for your watch that allows you to use other bands, which was important to me as I prefer heavier watches. Other similar single strap models are stiffer and may offer additional protection, but they are too light in my opinion. I would like the new version to come with an acoustic foil to better protect the ports. As a brewer, my final hours were killed by all the liquids and chemicals. Although I only had it with a screen cover for three years. Now I expect a much longer lifespan with this full protection.
