In the evening the temperature in the aquarium rose to almost 30 degrees, and when I turned on the light, I noticed that all the snails were at the top of the aquarium, and one crawled out and landed on the bottom . I pulled the heater off, reached out to pull it out, and burned my thumb and forefinger with 2nd degree burns. I've lost 3 snails but my Betta and Bristle Nose Pleco have been fine so far! Please be careful and take your temperature daily if you have one of these.
