Review on ❄️ Optimized Northside Icicle Snow Boot by Amy Mcleod

Major design flaw

Very disappointed with these boots. Of course, I made a scam deal and bought them for $9 on sale, but that was too good to be true. They are warm and well built. That's where it ends. All good properties are lost, but the material sticks to the tread, which keeps the snow on it. The only thing it's good for is glare on ice. However, it has snowed several times here in upstate New York, and whether it's sheer fluff or a heavy lake effect, the snow packs into the soles of these boots, making my daughter unable to walk. Literally 3 inches of snow on the pads and heel of the boots and we only had 2 inches of snow. She always had to sit down and tap the snow to keep from falling. The photo shows what is left after dismantling. Absolutely ridiculous for winter boots. Even thawing inside takes several hours and the snow stays snuggly. Size wise she wears 1 and we ordered 3 to be able to wear wool socks and get through our 5-6 month winter. They seem to be a bit smaller than most brands like Totes (also total trash btw). They appear to be well constructed apart from one fatal design flaw which is fabric over the tread. But it's too big a problem for this mother to let my daughter carry her. After two socks they are on their way to the Salvation Army and I canceled the order for the ones I was going to give to my nephew. Will stay with Kamika.
