We mounted the camera high so it wouldn't fall. The sound and picture quality is ok and the coverage area is great. It's disappointing, however, that this camera doesn't seem to have the advertised zoom feature. There's a bit of video lag and camera movement, which is a little frustrating. All in all, if you're willing to ignore minor disappointments, this is a good product for the price. puppy update. We discovered this as soon as we left, she plays with her plush treat and then goes to bed and is fine until we get home!
