I was reluctant to make this purchase as I was trying to use an adapter that went from micro USB to USB and I didn't know if it was for charging or just for data and/or OTG function was to use Seek thermal camera connected with Micro USB and OTG function worked fine with my old phone that only used Micro USB with my new phone that only USB-C used. And in this attempt, my new phone didn't even recognize the device. And I was concerned that my device was designed specifically for Micro-USB connections and might not work with a USB-C phone at all. , and plugged it into my USB-C phone, my phone immediately recognized my thermal camera, ran the software and worked great.
