Review on Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 Processor, Dual-Core 1.8 GHz, 2M L2 Cache, LGA775 by Micha Kobiaka ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

I have been dealing with this processor for 5 years. At one time, he pulled everything. Worked with GE-FORCE 8500 GT video card. Then two years later, the games began to not work at maximum speeds. in 2022 I did a restyling of thecomputer - I installed a video card (Because the old one burned a little:) "Radeon HD 5670 GDDR5 HM". Games started to work better. But it was felt that the processor was already "not the same". Time passed, and I installed FIFA 12. I was disappointed that the Game slowed down on any settings. And I thought that there was nothing to lose, and today, 06/03/2022, I decided to "overclock" my "old man". And I was pleasantly surprised - I overclocked it from 22022 GHz to 2.93 - it was a chapel for my motherboard. Although the potential for overclocking is still there - people have overclocked it up to 3.5 - but highercomoling is already required. As a result, FIFA 12 began to work as well as FIFA 11 - "without brakes". So, friends, those who still have this processor, feel free to overclock it - you won't regret it! Here is a link to a video explaining how to do this ? v=_f4kcepA53s. If someone has some kind of "fecal" processor on socket 775, but there is no way to buy something new and expensive, then I advise you to buy this BU processor from someone. It is quite possible to take for 500. And then "overclock" it to hell) And yet, after "overclocking" pay attention to the temperature of the processor, remember that its maximum temperature is 73'C.

Pros
  • No heat, good performance for its time, support for 64-bit systems. Windows 7 pulls quietly. Reliable (5 years of work).
Cons
  • Unfortunately, nothing lasts forever. Deprecated.
