A very high-quality product, I take it not for the first time.
For a long time (more than 5 years) I have been buying and operating WD as external storage. today I have 5 of them. old ones are clogged, I buy new ones of a larger size. to date, not a single drive has failed, no problems have been found. to compare Seagate, 2 drives have problems with write speed and broken clusters. Buffalo (2-screw system) started to make a lot of noise = there were problems with cooling
- large volume common form factor no noise, works well
- for a month of operation did not determine the shortcomings
