I was looking for a stainless steel container for my toddler and it looked good because it seemed more drop resistant and got rave reviews. Unfortunately the smallest container had many scratches and some discoloration of the metal inside. It's like someone took a spiked metal wheel and drew a line on the floor, along with discoloration and a few other imperfections. I wouldn't trust broken metal and it would be difficult to clean a scratched spot so I returned it. Pros: Containers really stack into each other even with the lid closed. The plastic/silicone outer part of the shell probably protects against falls. The color was beautiful. Cons: Scratches and discoloration in the smallest container. Silicone cases and dustproof magnets. I would like to try to pack hot lunch in an insulated bag using a thermal pack. The protective barrier doesn't seem to be as effective at keeping food warm as it is without the plastic. There was a small gap where plastic meets metal that might have been difficult to clean once it got dirty. The biggest annoyance was when trying to return an item I had to contact customer service to have it done.
