Held up great on a 2000 mile road trip! Only knock is what I was expecting anyway, it has lower clearance while pulling into an elevated driveway and the base scraped against the pavement a few times! But it saved me from having to install roof rails on my car or shell out money on an expensive bare roof rack, so it served me just right while traveling with dogs! Pretty well built and no complaints so far! I bought a hitch tightener to reduce rattling or play so definitely invest in that if you’re planning on this, as I still had some play before I secured it with a hitch tightener and lock! Folds up when you want to go around without luggage. I put in some reflecting strips at the back as well but it did not block my tail lights or tags even after it had a cargo bag. After use very easy to take off fold the shaft and stack up against the wall in my garage! Definitely recommend and will be using again next month on a long road trip!
