The product is good, but it requires DIY experience to install. This isn't for those whose tool kit consists of a small hammer and a rusty screwdriver in a junk drawer. The hardest part for me was cutting out the door opening (I have a solid wood door) and cutting the screws to length without damaging the threads. I used both a jigsaw and an oscillating saw to cut the hole. A few assembly tips: Instead of gluing the inner frame to the door to mark the hole, I attached the frame to the door with small screws (after leveling with a spirit level). This prevents accidental movement when tracing the notch and also creates good pilot holes when drilling the actual 1/4" holes. Another piece of advice. When connecting the frames with bolts during final assembly, hold the nuts in place by pushing them down. napkin in recessed holes. The cosmetic caps that cover the screw heads are difficult to insert. I had to cut each of them a bit with a knife before I could insert them into the holes. I was able to install the door. without an assistant.
