I have bought almost every reusable K-cup filter possible. My single-serving coffee maker is the Cuisinart SS-6, which is identical to the SS-5. The reusable filter that comes with the brewer requires the glass holder to be removed, but this one does NOT. It fits in the K-Cup holder like a regular K-Cup, just make sure the small indentation underneath goes where the needle sits in the K-Cup holder. The material seems durable. I rinse them under warm water, they can be washed in the dishwasher.
