I have a large porch with glass carpeted floor that looks more like a semi-open cave which I light up with white Christmas lights except on Christmas Day when I put colored lights. . Well this year after the Christmas lights went out I wanted to do something different. I wanted a color changing light that I can change depending on the season and mood so this is what I got. They went up easily and the remote control is amazing. I love the variety of colors and as an added bonus, there are multi-color Christmas Hunt settings. Truly unbelievable! One small thing I'd like is the ability to dim and brighten the lights, although it's not a big deal. One important thing I don't care about is that there is a diode (light) that seems to work on its own. If I choose red, blue or green, he plays along; If I choose orange or yellow, it stays red. If I choose another shade of blue or purple, it will remain dark blue, any other shade of green will remain dark green. If I set it to white it goes off completely. This thing stands out among all the other diodes that are set to a different color. If it weren't for that one diode, I would give this string of lights the highest praise possible.
