Every time I turn on my Xbox I have to unplug and plug the controller back in just for the sound to go through my headset. A few months later, one morning, I turn on the Xbox and, doing what I always do, put on the headset and hear a very high-pitched noise in my right ear. I know it's not my headset as I've plugged it into different devices. , I unplugged the USB connector and plugged it back in. I still have high hiss, sometimes I hear certain things but they are very distorted and hurt my ear. The overall quality is good, but the keys are very loud and my microphone seems to pick them up, which annoys my friends. After a month it shuts down due to the cord location, the cord is so awful I wish it wasn't detachable. WARNING: AFTER CONNECTING THE CABLE, NEVER DISCONNECT THE CABLE. Update: I forgot to mention that the controller electrocuted me hard when I started getting high-pitched noises.
